For your convenience, you may deposit payment with your bill stub in a locked drop box located at the Clymer Fire Hall on the Maple Ave door. You may also pay your bill in person on Saturday, January 24, 2026 and January 31, 2026 between the hours of lpm - 4pm at the Clymer French Creek Library located at 564 Clymer Sherman Road. After April 1, 2026, taxes must be paid to the Chautauqua County Tax Department, 3 North Erie St., Mayville, NY 14757, with a 5% penalty and interest at the rate of 1.000/o per month from February 7, such interest to be computed on the total amount of tax plus penalty. IMPORTANT: If this property has been sold or otherwise disposed of, you are required to forward this Tax Bill to the new owner or return it to the Tax Collector, with the name and address of the new owner, if available. |

New York State law now provides that if you are age 65 or over, or disabled, and you own a 1, 2, or 3 family residential property, you can designate an adult third party to receive duplicates of your tax bill and all required notices deriving therefrom. You and the person you designate must both sign the application. You may obtain an application (RP-923) at the office of the Tax Receiver/Collector or at the office of the County Director of Real Property Tax Services. If you wish to receive an application by mail, please send a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your request to either the Tax Receiver/Collector or the Director of Real Property Tax Services, 3 North Erie Street, Mayville, NY 14757-1007. You must file your application prior to July 16th to be effective for the ensuing year. Once the application is approved and filed, a duplicate of your subsequent Tax Bill and all required notices of unpaid taxes will be mailed to the adult third party until you notify the Tax Receiver/Collector or the County Director of Real Property Tax Services to cancel your authorization.
